An Eco Park will be developed at Lataguri which was inaugurated by Siliguri-Jalpaiguri Development Authority(SJDA) Chairman Mr.Sourav Chakraborty on Monday(19.02.19). The estimated cost of eco-park is Rs. 8cr 84lakhs. The park is expected to open eco-park before Durga Puja. It was a long wish from the people of Lataguri to develop Eco-park for the tourists. It will an additional attraction for the tourists of Latatguri. Tourists can spend some quality time, especially at night. The park will have toy-train, battery car, boating facility, a place to show short-film on local culture. People of Lataguri are very happy as their long wish is going to be fulfilled.
