Jaldapara National Park to make jungle safari “Smarter”

In an initiative to make jungle safari to Jaldapara National Park “smarter and more educative” the park officials made some changes in the guidelines for the tourists.

The decision to revise the guidelines was taken in a meeting held at Madarihat Nature Interpretation Centre.

It is now mandatory for nature guides to brief tourists regarding park ethics, Do’s and Dont’s before they enter the park. It is also learnt that plastic bottles and other plastic materials will be completely be banned.

The national park authorities will issue identity cards to nature guides. Also, ethnic songs and dance will be included in the safari tour.

It was also decided to improve facilities like park toilets, bathrooms and helpdesk.
