Tiger plays with 13 yr old boy – Ajit, they grew up together. Tiger is the name of a dog – pet of “Sramik Mohalla”.
Whenever Ajit used to go beside Kurti river at dusk to bring his cows back home, Tiger used to be always with him.
Tuesday late afternoon, when a furious leopard jumped on Ajit from bushes of tea garden without delaying a second Tiger, jumped on the leopard to save him & started barking, as a result, more dogs from surrounding areas came on the spot. Due to Tiger’s bravery & presence of mind the leopard was forced to leave Ajit & run away as he was not prepared for such resistance.
As soon as all came to know about the incident, Tiger became a hero for them.
Rescued from the spot Ajit was taken to Mangalbari Health Center followed by Malbazar Super Speciality Hospital. Now he is quite better.
