06th September 2020 – Stakeholders associated with tourism industry are happy with the administration’s decision to allow hotels, resorts, homestays and restaurants in the district of Darjeeling and Kalimpong to resume operations.
Both the magistrates of Darjeeling and Kalimpong district-issued orders to this effect. Operations in hotels and restaurants are allowed in areas outside Cointaintment Zone maintaining social distance norms and health hygiene protocols.
