‘Rongo’ and ‘Dalgaon’ aro two quaint hamlets of Dooars. Both the spots are within a periphery of 10 km from each other. If you love to be in the lap of nature – Rongo and Dalgaon will greet you with open arms. Why? To begin with, you will be off the grid. Your opportunity to get a little electronic detox and stay from the hustle-bustle of mundane routine job. This is the place to disconnect from the world and immerse in the hues of greens and blues.

Day 1
Village Trail of Rongo

  • Meet and greet by our representative at New Mal. We will proceed for Rongo. The road goes through the famous Chapramari Sanctuary. If you are lucky, you may have a wild encounter. The route to Rongo is dotted with scenic beauty.

  • Check-in at homestay at Rongo. Have lunch and possibly a quick power nap. In the evening take a stroll of the Rongo Village.

  • Campfire with Barbecue Chicken - Dinner - Off to bed.

Day 2
Sightseeing - Dalgaon, Jhalong, Bindu & Paren

  • After breakfast proceed for sightseeing. We will visit Dalgaon, Jhalong, Bindu & Paren.

  • Return to homestay. Late Lunch. Take rest.

  • In the evening enjoy the solitude of Rongo. Visit 200 years old monastery at the far end of the village.

  • Dinner- Off to bed.

Day 3
Sightseeing - Suntalekhola, Rocky Island and Others

  • After breakfast check-out from homestay. Proceed for sightseeing of Suntalekhola, Rocky Island, Laligarous, Samsing and Murti.

  • En-route visit Hunuman Mandir at Mal Bazar.

  • Drop at New Mal

Railhead:
Railhead is New Mal Junction. Rongo is 1 and 1/2 hr drive from New Mal. Best options for trains for New Mal for the tour are-

Last Mile:
We will coordinate with you for pickup/drop from/to New Mal Junction.

Vehicle:
Group size 5 to 7 – Innova Crysta(non-AC) Group size 1 to 4 – Wagon-R(non-AC)

Duration of Stay:
2 nights 3 days

Things to Carry:
Govt. ID proof, warm ware, essential medicines and enough cash as most of the area don’t have ATM.

  • Expenses of Personal Nature like Tips, Porter, Laundry etc.
  • Anything not mentioned in inclusions.

Terms and Cancellation Policy:

Advance amount is non-refundable & would not be adjusted with any future bookings.

Payment Terms: Full amount to be paid atleast 5 days prior to the tour start date.
