We know elephants are fond of eating bamboo, potatoes, banana etc but on 21st January 2019, an elephant in Lataguri broke the door of a sweet shop at Neora More and ate sweets, curd kept inside the refrigerator. All are astonished on the changing food habit of elephants. On Monday night the elephant came from Gorumara Forest and straightway targeted the refrigerator inside the sweet shop and very cleverly broke the main entrance of the shop and refrigerator’s door and consumed curd, sweets kept inside it. Before consuming the sweets it ate “Singaras” kept in front of the fridge. After elephant’s stomach was full, it leisurely headed for Gorumara Forest.
