A rare black panther was captured in camera traps set up at the Buxa Tiger Reserve.
Photos of the big cat quickly went viral and other platforms after it was shared on Twitter.
Karnataka’s Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary and Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve of Tamil Nadu are two wildlife reserves where black panthers are spotted. But that fact that one is present at the Buxa Tiger reserve has taken many by surprise.
In the past also Black Panther was seen by tourists at Buxa Tiger Reserve. Presence of Black Panther is likely to add new dimension to the tourism in the area.
